The Medallion Man has been refining the ultimate mardi gras throw for quite some time. Many years ago in New Orleans, Medallion Man caught a medallion in the Endymion parade. He then concentrated and was rewarded with another medallion during the Zulu parade. The experience taught him that nothing is finer than to catch that prized medallion. Using his own methods, Medallion Man created the original Krewe Member medallion for his krewe "The Krewe of Hermes", which performs in the Galveston Momus parade. The current finished product is much finer than any of those New Orleans medallions. Those were a massed produced, cheap plastic product. The Medallion Man's product is a hand made glittered treasure with intricate embellished graphics covered with a smooth, thick high gloss finish complete with a high quality bead necklace. Now, not only will he provide a standard Krewe Member medallion for all Galveston krewes, but he is offering custom medallions for any occasion including, of course, Mardi Gras. So far he has provided medallions for the following occasions:
